**Job Description:**
As a Lead Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* **Designing and Developing Data Items and Data Centers:** Collaborate with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, develop, and implement advanced data solutions that meet our clients' needs.
* **Planning and Fostering Versatile Data Warehousing Arrangements:** Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in Large Data conditions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid). Our tech stack includes Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flash, and Wind stream, with languages such as Python, Scala.
* **Helping Engineer Data Arrangements/Structures and Defining Data Models:** Assist in designing and implementing data structures and defining data models for our core data warehouse and data shops.
* **Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams:** Work closely with Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to ensure successful data solution implementation and delivery.
* **Maintaining Detailed Documentation:** Keep detailed records of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration.
* **Ensuring High Functional Productivity and Quality:** Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and support our clients' obligations to our Information Science and Information Examination groups.
* **Participating in Agile/Scrum Practice:** Contribute to our team's well-being and cycle enhancements by actively participating in agile/scrum practice.
**Key Capabilities:**
* **Solid SQL Skills and Ability to Query Data:** Possess strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract insights from data and build performant datasets.
* **Experience with Distributed Systems:** Have hands-on experience with distributed systems like Flash, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data.
* **Strong Programming Skills:** Possess strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala.
* **Experience with MPP or Cloud Database Technology:** Have experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query).
* **Familiarity with Data Integration Toolsets:** Familiarity with data integration toolsets (i.e., Wind current) and writing and maintaining data pipelines.
* **Strong Data Modeling Skills:** Possess strong data modeling skills and knowledge of data warehousing standard systems and practices.
* **Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies:** Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and practices.
