**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to lead our cloud-based data pipeline development efforts. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient data pipelines that drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines that drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs
* Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
* Work with the data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes
* Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
* Ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met
* Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
* Explore and recommend new tools and technologies to meet business needs
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data pipeline development
* Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other relevant programming languages
* Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
* Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with the healthcare industry, with a focus on medical data and analytics
* Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
