Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Ventures team, where you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines, modeling complex data systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work with massive datasets, develop scalable data solutions, and contribute to the development of our data science capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence and data science initiatives
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop data models, and implement data solutions
- Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to support business analytics and reporting
- Work with various data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data platforms
- Develop and implement data quality, data governance, and data security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and data-driven applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, data science, and cloud computing
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data systems and develop creative solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or similar
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data science principles
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
