Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Ventures team, where you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data pipelines, modeling complex data systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work with massive datasets, develop scalable data solutions, and contribute to the development of our data science capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence and data science initiatives
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop data models, and implement data solutions
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to support business analytics and reporting
  • Work with various data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Develop and implement data quality, data governance, and data security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and data-driven applications
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, data science, and cloud computing

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data systems and develop creative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or similar
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data science principles
