**Job Summary**

As a Full Stack Data Engineer in our OAP department, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop data solutions, and implement data-driven insights that drive business growth. Your expertise in data engineering, analytics, and problem-solving will be essential in helping us achieve our operational excellence goals.

**Responsibilities**

* Locate and extract data from various sources to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting
* Clean and curate datasets by identifying new data sources, aggregating perspectives, and creating significant hierarchies
* Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to develop data-driven insights and solutions
* Leverage emerging technologies and innovative approaches to communicate data and insights that meet business needs
* Support strategy development and project management engagements for business units and cross-functional initiatives
* Train and mentor team members on various skills and topics
* Practice security-aware behaviors in all operational procedures and protocols
* Demonstrate a team-first mindset with the success of our team and business partners as the top priority
* Be intellectually curious, ask questions, and communicate ideas effectively

**Requirements**

* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field
* Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns
* Proficiency with Python, SAS, or other comparable tools and programming languages
* Ability to troubleshoot a reporting database environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously with multiple requests and timelines
* Self-starter with a resilient, solution-minded approach to complex problems
* Consistently prioritizes security and protection of self, others, and personal data
* Embraces diverse perspectives, thinking, and styles
* Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
* Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a related quantitative field
* Previous airline experience
* Working knowledge of and/or experience with cloud-based solutions (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
