**Job Summary**

We're seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Information and Investigation group, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing advanced data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. With a strong focus on data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based technologies, you'll work closely with our team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients, sponsors, and content partners.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

* Designing and developing advanced data solutions that meet the needs of our clients, sponsors, and content partners
* Planning and developing versatile data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in large data conditions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
* Collaborating with data item chiefs, data modelers, and data architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions
* Maintaining detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration
* Ensuring high functional productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)
* Being a proactive member and supporter of agile/scrum practice to ensure well-being and cycle enhancements for your team

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets
* Experience with distributed systems like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data
* Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala
* Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query)
* Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e. Wind current) and composing and maintaining data pipelines
* Solid understanding of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard systems and practices
* Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

* Experience with cloud technologies like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2)
* Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques
* Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques
* Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives
