**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead our data engineering efforts and drive the development of cloud-based data pipelines. As a Data Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers, designing and implementing data pipelines, and ensuring data quality and integrity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the development of cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity
* Design and implement data pipelines that meet business needs and adhere to data governance policies
* Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
* Develop and maintain data architecture and design patterns, ensuring scalability and reliability
* Ensure data pipelines are secure, compliant, and meet regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven insights and recommendations
* Develop and maintain data quality metrics and reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
* Identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and improving efficiency
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
* 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, software development, or related field
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance
* Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or AWS Glue
* Strong understanding of data architecture and design patterns
* Experience with data quality metrics and reporting
* Strong leadership and communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
* Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
