Job Summary

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our technology team to develop and maintain coverage, provide departmental insights on performance, and create data models to solve various quantitative tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI and Excel to support business stakeholders and drive informed decision-making.
• Design and implement robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Manage and create new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business growth and analytics.
• Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI, enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables, leveraging data mining techniques to uncover hidden insights.
• Analyze large datasets to identify relevant patterns and trends, providing actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Vigorously evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy.
• Validate data for consistency, verifying against requirements and ensuring data quality.
• Research data errors, remediate poor data, and implement corrective actions to prevent future errors.
• Participate in the Data Governance program, updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis, with a strong background in data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
• Proficiency in Power BI, with experience creating complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including star schema and other data modeling techniques.
• Experience with SQL, DAX, and M Code, with the ability to write complex SQL queries and create data models.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and data mining.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
• Familiarity with Smartsheets and other project management tools.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
