**Focus in Data Entry Teams**

Our data entry teams are responsible for building and maintaining a robust data access stage that enables our microservices to store, consume, and manage their data efficiently. This stage is designed to work at sub-millisecond latencies, allowing our microservices to meet their evolving and advancing data needs. We're passionate about distributed data system innovation and are active contributors to the open-source community.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Design and develop a scalable and highly available data access stage that meets the needs of our microservices
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and TPMs, to drive business-critical initiatives
* Contribute to the development of open-source projects and contribute to arenaflex's OSS efforts
* Work with our data engineering and handling teams to design and implement data pipelines and workflows
* Participate in code reviews and ensure that our codebase is maintainable, efficient, and scalable

**Essential Qualifications**

* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems or applications
* Strong understanding of data engineering and handling concepts, including data pipelines, workflows, and data quality
* Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
* Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or GCP
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
* Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including Tableau or Power BI
* Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

**Skills and Competencies**

* Strong understanding of data engineering and handling concepts
* Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
* Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, including AWS or GCP
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
