**Job Summary**

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in our RWE and clinical trials team. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data analysis and machine learning models to extract insights from large datasets. Your work will have a direct impact on our research and development efforts, and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Design and implement advanced data analysis and machine learning models to extract insights from large datasets
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes
* Develop and maintain high-quality data pipelines and data products to support RWE and clinical trials research
* Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions to address them
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our research and development efforts
* Collaborate with other data scientists and researchers to develop and implement new methods and techniques for data analysis and machine learning
* Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and communication materials to support data-driven decision-making

**Essential Capabilities**

* 2+ years of experience with R, Python, or SQL
* Experience in designing and implementing powerful and reproducible statistical analyses with regards to epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data
* Knowledge of standard statistical testing strategies including generalized linear models, regression and classification, decision trees, supervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
* Experience handling large datasets from various data sources
* Experience handling protected patient health data
* Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI visualization tools

**Favored Capabilities**

* Mastery in EMR/Health IT, disease libraries, and claims data sets
* Aptitude in clinical data principles, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
* Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
* Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions
* Experience with trial design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
* Understanding of machine learning and AI strategies, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
