**Key Responsibilities**

As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

* Providing strategic vision and direction for the data science team, focused on Omni Channel analysis across both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce platforms.
* Leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with Examiners, Specialized Associates, and Business Pioneers to develop an improvement guide based on business needs.
* Interpreting business requirements into precise product specifications to drive development.
* Leading design meetings, adjusting techniques to business drivers, challenges, and long-term objectives.
* Planning effective data pipelines to address business issues, utilizing specialized tools and retail frameworks.
* Setting and executing data science team best practices and leading code audits for colleagues.
* Creating compelling visuals, diagrams, and graphs that resonate with data, tailored to various audiences.
* Utilizing advanced analytical techniques (regression, AI, clustering) to drive significant insights.

**Essential Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* 2 years' experience creating Examination, Measurable, or AI models to extract insights and address business challenges, preferably in a retail setting.
* Capability in web analysis and visitor segmentation using data to drive informed decisions and improve online experiences.
* Leadership skills in leading small teams in quick and accurate data analysis, feature definition, and creative problem-solving for business challenges.
* Ability in working on complex issues, creating data-driven stories for direction.
* Cloud platform/tech capability.
* Aptitude in AI or machine learning methods.
* Ability in investigating and underlying driver analysis.
* Success in fast-paced, changing conditions.
* Preferred knowledge of various project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum).
* Proficient relational skills for effective team and individual communication.
* Capability in various data technology areas:
+ Data pipelines and ETL tools (e.g., SQL, SSIS, Knime, Alteryx, Scene Prep)
+ Database platforms including Snowflake and SQL Server
+ Preprocessing languages (e.g., Snowscript, JavaScript, VBA, Python)
+ Statistical and Data Science languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python for Data Science)
+ Usage of AI techniques.
* Experience with advanced analytical systems (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, statistical induction, hypothesis testing, p-values, causal inference, Random Forest, Boosting, Support Vector Machines, Time Series).
