blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a remote worker, you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with our team to process medical documents, extract data, and enter it into our electronic database. A Day in the Role
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews
- Extracting data from documents and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
- Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
- Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
- Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Personal computer or laptop for use in this role
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy is a must
- Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims
- Remote healthcare experience
