**Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to ensure that our solutions are aligned with business objectives and meet the highest standards of quality.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and deploy Java-based software applications, including back-end systems, APIs, and web applications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
* Work independently to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement them in a timely and efficient manner
* Participate in code reviews, ensure high-quality code, and maintain a clean and organized codebase
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in software development
* Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
* Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects, and ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in Java software development, including experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate
* Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
* Strong understanding of software design patterns, including object-oriented design, service-oriented architecture, and microservices
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
* Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems and identify solutions
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning, including experience with popular libraries and frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
* Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark
* Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
