Job Overview

The Customer Systems group at arenaflex is seeking an experienced Java Developer to help us drive innovation and excellence in our customer support operations. As a Java Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across arenaflex, working closely with our business leaders and various stakeholders to implement new solutions. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, prioritize requirements, and develop solutions for complex design and content, with the ability to work under pressure occasionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale enterprise-level back-end systems using Java and Java Enterprise applications
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
• Utilize expertise in Java, Spring, multi-threading, REST, Data Storage Systems, DB design, and data access technologies to drive innovation and excellence
• Develop and architect distributed systems, synchronous programming, and coding data structures
• Design, develop, and deploy large-scale, high-performance web applications with low latency
• Develop and implement natural language processing systems for web applications and API platforms
• Architect and design Application layers in SOA/Microservices architecture
• Build, design, and deploy highly scalable REST-based stateless APIs/web services for web applications/mobile clients
• Ensure security principles and build reliable and secure distributed applications
• Lead and mentor junior developers to help them grow in their careers
• Optimize application performance and implement caching strategies
• Work on multiple tasks and support various, simultaneous projects

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• At least 2 years of experience in designing and developing large-scale enterprise-level back-end systems
• Proven experience with Java, Spring, multi-threading, REST, Data Storage Systems, DB design, and data access technologies
• Experience with artificial intelligence and building data pipelines for large-scale data infrastructure
• Strong understanding of applications performance improvement techniques and caching strategies
• Ability to work independently and prioritize requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to perform multiple tasks
