Job Overview

The Customer Systems group at arenaflex is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. As a Java Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across arenaflex to design, develop, and implement new solutions. You will work closely with our business leaders and various stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, prioritize requirements, and develop solutions for complex systems and content, with the ability to work under pressure occasionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale enterprise-level Java applications, including architecture, design, development, and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
• Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are properly tested and validated
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our products and services

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience with Java and Java Enterprise development, including design, development, and support of large-scale enterprise-level applications
• Proven experience with Java, Spring, multi-threading, REST, Data Storage Systems, DB design, and data access technologies
• Experience with artificial intelligence and building data pipelines for large-scale data systems
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
