Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Project Manager at FedEx, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing multiple projects, initiatives, and teams to drive success and exceed customer expectations
  • Developing, managing, and tracking project plans to satisfy the accepted scope, budget, and timeline
  • Defining and managing project scope, budget, and timeline, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned
  • Escalating project issues to upper management and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and issues
  • Communicating project status and progress to team members, stakeholders, and sponsors on a regular basis
  • Managing and controlling project costs, and ensuring that all expenses are within budget
  • Developing and implementing risk management plans and mitigation strategies to minimize project risks
  • Collaborating with vendors and clients to ensure that project deliverables are met and that customer expectations are exceeded
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience in a technical or professional environment with at least two (2) years of leading move-functional initiatives
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the offered job or three (3) years of experience in a technical or professional environment with at least two (2) years of leading move-functional initiatives
  • Experience with software competencies, such as the use of Microsoft Office software and web-based tools
  • Verbal and written communication skills essential to communicate with all levels of management
  • Presentation skills vital to facilitate training and/or deliver data presentations to groups and/or individuals
  • Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks, accurately prioritize workload, plan for resources to fulfill deadlines and goals, and respond to daily routine needs
  • Ability to assume and perceive issues and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to increase effective and efficient solutions
  • Knowledge of standards, practices, rules, and processes related to subject operations
  • Modeling and mentoring skills
  • SAS experience
  • Understanding of Agile project management methodology
  • Records analytics experience
  • Maintenance and improvement experience
  • Root cause evaluation and troubleshooting experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with FedEx operations and processes
  • Knowledge of FedEx's organizational change management (OCM) framework and requirements
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • Knowledge of business requirements specifications (BRS) and FedEx work requests (FWRs)
  • Experience with vendor management and procurement
