**Job Responsibilities**

As a SAP Basis Administrator at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems and applications. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, and SAP GRC
* Performing routine system maintenance tasks, such as client duplication, system duplication, client export/import, and system refresh
* Monitoring system performance, investigating issues, and optimizing system resources to ensure high availability and performance
* Managing the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) for shipping changes between SAP systems
* Planning and executing backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems
* Designing and managing interfaces and integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
* Analyzing system performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance tuning measures to improve system performance
* Maintaining accurate documentation of SAP system designs, methodologies, and standards
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (SOX, PCI, Corporate, etc.)

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
* At least 7 years of experience as a SAP Basis Administrator or in a similar role with a medium to large-sized organization
* Proven expertise in SAP installation, setup, and maintenance
* SAP certifications are a plus
* Excellent DB2 and AIX skills and experience
* In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, architecture, and components
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends
* Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for system maintenance and support activities
* Strong commitment to maintaining system security and data integrity
* Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

* Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS)
* Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Cloud Foundry
* Experience with DevOps and automation tools
* Certification in SAP Basis Administration
* Experience with Agile development methodologies
