As a Senior Manager of Customer & Performance Data Solutions, you'll be responsible for guiding a dedicated team of data engineers in collecting, integrating, and managing data to provide actionable insights and enhance our Marketing capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior Manager of Customer & Performance Data Solutions, you'll be responsible for:
* **Leadership & Management**: Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and QA specialists, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the data solutions team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
* **Data Strategy & Planning**: Develop and implement strategies for data ingestion, enhancement, and utilization, collaborating with stakeholders to identify data needs and prioritize projects.
* **Data Management**: Ensure seamless data collection and harmonization tailored for performance reporting, overseeing the development and maintenance of data acquisition pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
* **Project Execution**: Manage and execute projects related to data solutions requests, collaborating with internal and external teams to assess and scope data needs to meet business needs.
* **Innovation & Improvement**: Explore and implement new data analytics solutions and platforms to support data democratization across the department, building data products for spaneting-specific use-cases and business needs.

**What You Need to Succeed**
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
* **3+ years of experience** in managing technical teams and projects.
* **4+ years of experience** leading an Engineering team familiar with large cloud environments, Big Data technologies.
* **10+ years of development experience** in Teradata, SAS, SQL, Python.
* **Demonstrated ability** to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* **Proven experience** in leading and managing data engineering teams.
* **Verified track record** of designing and implementing data platform migrations.
* **Ability to manage multiple parallel projects** while delivering quality releases on schedule.
* **Deep knowledge** of traditional data warehousing (models, practices, and processes), cloud-based data warehouses, data lakes, and data streaming.
* **Exceptional system design abilities**, including high-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
* **Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Teradata, Python, AWS S3, and Redshift** or other data manipulation languages.
* **Ability to communicate complex data concepts** to non-technical stakeholders.
* **Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities**.
* **Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills**.
* **Consistently prioritizes safety and security** of self, others, and personal data.
* **Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles**.
* **Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency**.
* **Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States**.

* **Bachelor of Master of Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline** or equivalent experience required.
* **Experience working with large and highly complex data sets**.
* **Experience working in spaneting operations and the airline industry**.
* **Familiarity working with Delta's internal data ecosystem** (ex: RPAD).
* **Adobe Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud product experience**.
