**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our big data and cloud application development team. As a senior engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software solutions using big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers
* Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and workflows using various tools and technologies
* Work with our data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms
* Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code meets arenaflex's high standards for quality and maintainability
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in big data and cloud computing
* Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on big data and cloud computing
* Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and PySpark
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
* Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
* Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
* Experience with microservices architecture and containerization
* Experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, Couchbase, and MongoDB
* Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Apache Flink
* Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
