A Day in the Life of a Blithequark Remote Contact Center Chat Representative
As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at Blithequark, your day will be filled with:
- Efficiently and effectively answering member inquiries, solving problems, and assisting with transactions and lending inquiries through digital channels, including email, web and mobile messaging, chat, and text.
- Providing support to ensure online membership applications are completed and submitted within a timely manner.
- Effectively discussing members' needs on financial matters through multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for all online products and services, including but not limited to: Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat, and Text Support.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of Blithequark's products and services.
Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Serving members' needs through all channels, including chat, messaging, email, and phone.
- Providing resolution on various topics such as debit cards, disputes, deposits posting, NSF fees, transfers, and more.
- Cross-selling Blithequark products and services and opening and closing deposit accounts of all types.
- Utilizing excellent grammar and writing skills to communicate effectively with members.
- Working in a sales environment to meet and exceed performance goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful as a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at Blithequark, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a customer service position.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.
- Ability to meet the requirements for our Telecommuting Program (more information below).
Telecommuting Program Requirements
To participate in our Telecommuting Program, you will need:
- A dedicated workspace.
- A secure and strong internet connection.
- An environment free from loud noises or outside distractions.
- Not be a caretaker for any dependents (adult or child) for the entirety of the scheduled shift.
Work Schedule and Benefits
As a full-time Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at Blithequark, you can expect:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM work schedule.
- No travel required for this position.
- Telecommuting possible once training is complete.
- The first 60 days will be on-site for training at our Corporate Campus.
