Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Answer inbound phone calls to schedule jobs and handle customer service inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Dispatch Operations: Initiate outbound phone calls for scheduling of service calls and dispatch the correct technician to each job based on qualifications, geography, and customer preference.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate with customers regarding estimated arrival times, technician details, and other relevant information.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative duties as requested by your direct supervisor and other managers, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Software Utilization: Effectively utilize Service Titan & ClearPath software to plan and dispatch jobs, and ensure accuracy of details on all scheduled calls.
  • Technician Communication: Communicate with technicians regarding availability, expected completion time, and other relevant information.
  • Customer Interaction: Handle various customer inquiries and requests efficiently and accurately, and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a customer service environment.
  • Location: Must live in Illinois and be able to reliably commute to our training facility for on-site training.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy of details on all scheduled calls.
  • Prioritization and Workflow: Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Remote Work: Ability to work from home efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dispatch Experience: Previous dispatch experience is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Plumbing, Electric & HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
