Key Responsibilities

  • Survey, evaluate, and provide risk insights across merchant, inward controls, and digital spaces.
  • Establish and convey key risk and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with associates in Information Security, Information Technology, and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as SOX and PCI.
  • Design and develop IT controls that mitigate risk to an acceptable level, working closely with key stakeholders.
  • Document controls, including control descriptions, process steps, and testing measures.
  • Train and educate IT staff on IT risk, controls, and control effectiveness testing.
  • Periodically test control effectiveness, working with IT stakeholders to close gaps in control effectiveness.
  • Provide IT controls and risk data to enable covering control gaps and control effectiveness.
  • Anticipate regulatory impact and understand the risk associated with introducing new technologies or processes.
  • Perform special projects as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of risk and security frameworks, including NIST, ISO, and COSO.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • A proactive nature with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment with a risk and controls perspective.
  • At least 2 years of experience across IT domains, such as application development, infrastructure, or business continuity.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • A strong focus on the safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
