**Key Responsibilities**

As a Licensed P&C Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Answering customer calls and assisting with payment and billing questions, as well as online payments
* Handling policy change requests via phone or email from customers and third parties, implementing changes online at the insurance carrier website
* Reviewing policy coverages and issuing certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, or binders as needed
* Engaging in general phone and email correspondence with customers related to renewals, cancellations, and insurance carrier requests

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* A minimum of 3 years' experience in property and casualty insurance, with a Property and Casualty License required
* Experience in either personal or commercial lines, with experience in both a plus
* Proficiency in Massachusetts Auto and Registry a plus
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
* Strong data entry skills and website navigation
* Adaptability to varying customer personality types and situations
* Eager to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, team environment
* Patience, empathy, and professionalism
* Effective time management
* A private, distraction-free work area is necessary, although a separate office is NOT required

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

* Experience working in a virtual or remote environment
* Familiarity with insurance carrier websites and management systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
