About the Role

We're on the hunt for experienced customer support representatives who share our passion for music and helping others. As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in assisting fans with their queries, from ticketing and merchandise purchases to password resets and website troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities

  • Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues, addressing them with the same care and attention you would give to your own problems
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize customer requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them to management without hesitation
  • Manage multiple chats simultaneously, maintaining your composure and focus
  • Accurately document all required information and chat details in our ticketing system
  • Respond to and resolve open issues in a prompt and professional manner
  • Identify trends related to systems, platforms, and customers, escalating them to management as needed
  • Multitask using multiple systems, seamlessly switching between tasks without losing efficiency or composure
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Cross-train as requested, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to new challenges

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a genuine love for music, particularly in the Pop and Country genres. We're looking for individuals with:

  • 3-5 years of call center chat experience, with technical experience being a significant plus
  • Proficiency in Zendesk or similar ticketing systems
  • The ability to type at least 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy or above
  • Excellent messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and a strong understanding of text and chat acronyms
  • Previous work-from-home experience, with a reliable computer and internet connection
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement

Hardware and Software Requirements

To work with us, you'll need to have:

  • A computer with a processor that has more than 4 cores
  • 8GB of memory on Windows 10 or higher, or 10 64 bits
  • A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
  • A USB headset
  • Up-to-date antivirus software installed on your platform, with a recent scan completed
  • A hardwired connection to your router, with your firewall enabled

What We Offer

As a Part-Time Chat Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you can expect:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $18.00, paid as a 1099 contract
  • Guaranteed 25 hours per week, with the potential to flex up to 40 hours per week based on client needs and workflow
  • Flexible scheduling, with shifts varying between 9:00am-6:00pm EST, and typically lasting between 4-8 hours
  • The opportunity to work from home, with no overnights required (although weekends may be necessary based on client needs)
