About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in applying the latest customer service techniques and learning our account management systems to enhance the customer experience during challenging times. This part-time position offers flexibility, with approximately 3-29 hours of work per week. You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of shifts that suit your schedule, all from the comfort of your home office. Our available shifts include:

  • Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 7:00AM-3:00PM
  • Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM-12:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 4:00PM-10:00PM
  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday 2:00PM-6:00PM
  • Sundays Only 8:00AM-4:00PM
  • Saturday & Sunday 10:00AM-5:00PM
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday 11:00AM-7:00PM

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries
  • Offering empathy and support to customers during the claim process
  • Collecting and documenting claim details accurately
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions
  • Utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries
  • Demonstrating punctuality and reliability, with the ability to work extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations
  • Adhering to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Language skills, including the ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports, write routine correspondence, and project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of basic computer functions, Microsoft Word, and Excel, with a typing speed of at least 40wpm
  • A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-2 years of quality assurance experience is preferred, but not required

To work from home effectively, you will need to meet the following network requirements:

  • A reliable internet connection, with a speed test result that meets our minimum requirements (www.speedtest.net)
  • An Ethernet connection is strongly recommended, but not required
  • A private network, as working from public locations is not permitted
  • No VPNs are allowed, as logins must occur within the US
