**The Role**
As a Customer Support Representative for American Express, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing them with expert advice, guidance, and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Building relationships with customers through proactive communication and personalized support
* Providing product and service information, recommendations, and promotions to meet customer needs

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Essential Qualifications:**
* 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the financial services or travel industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues
* Proficiency in using technology, including CRM systems, email, and chat platforms
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
* Knowledge of American Express products and services
* Familiarity with industry-leading CRM systems and software
* Certification in customer service or a related field
* Fluency in multiple languages
