**Schedule and Work Environment**

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll work 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. **Key Responsibilities**

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll be responsible for:

* Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
* Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
* Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
* Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
* Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
* Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
* Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements

**Additional Responsibilities**

As a key member of our team, you'll also be responsible for:

* Performing quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
* Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
* Alerting management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
* Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

**Qualifications**

To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll need:

* A high school diploma or equivalent
* At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role
* Strong data entry/typing skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* High degree of accuracy
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

**Skills and Competencies**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* Strong data entry skills, with a minimum of 8,200 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) and a 98% accuracy rate
* Proficiency in imaging software and ability to navigate efficiently and effectively
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
