Job Overview

The Part-Time One Stop Manager is a critical role that requires a unique blend of program operations, business development, and community outreach expertise. As a key member of our workforce development team, you will be responsible for managing programs with multiple customers, negotiating contracts, and establishing partnerships with community service agencies. Your exceptional communication, organizational, and advocacy skills will enable you to drive success and ensure a positive customer experience for our One Stop Centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate programs with multiple customers, ensuring contractual performance goals are met or exceeded within budget guidelines and program deliverables.
  • Interpret federal legislation, state guidance, and communiqués to implement quality services and ensure compliance.
  • Establish policies and procedures for center operations, safety, and crisis response management.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience for One Stop Centers in the region, fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in establishing linkages with community service agencies, negotiating contracts, and creating agreements (MOUs & MOAs) with partners.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Attend staff training and development sessions, complying with Eckerd Kids policies and contract requirements.
  • Supervise management and front-line staff, building community partnerships and ensuring center staff are deployed effectively.
  • Conduct business development activities, responding to RFPs, grant opportunities, and growing business in the region.
  • Engage in community outreach, collaborating with service agencies to fulfill contract compliance and deliver exceptional services.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in social services, counseling, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in social services, workforce development, or a related field.
  • Past experience working with targeted populations, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database tracking systems, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a leadership role, supervising staff and managing partnerships with community agencies.
  • A valid state driver's license and the ability to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance, with the capacity to drive for business purposes.
