Key Responsibilities

  • Model and convey a unique and great client experience, ensuring that customers receive considerate, fair, and professional service
  • Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately
  • Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication data and process prescriptions
  • Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience
  • Model and offer client support best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and arenaflex service qualities
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
  • Report remedy errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to organization policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
  • Handle calls that don't require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to doctors, and process manual cases for third-party program prescription services
  • Support and assist the Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
  • Maintain knowledge of store systems and store equipment, and ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • Strong numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control
  • PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Previous work experience with arenaflex
