Key Responsibilities

• Register sales on designated sales registers, provide clients with considerate and efficient checkout services, and process transactions accurately
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions
• Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving client issues to ensure a positive experience
• Maintain accurate records, keep counters and retires clean and well-promoted, and perform inventory management tasks as required
• Perform administrative duties, such as processing manual cases for third-party program prescription services, handling calls, and maintaining information on organization resource security methods
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances and maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment
• Previous work experience with arenaflex or a similar organization
• Good numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
• PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through the designated PTCB training program
• Continuing education credits in healthcare and pharmacy, including the latest news and developments
