**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist to join our Specialty Mail Request team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing and managing complex pharmacy-related data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations. **Key Responsibilities**
- Process and manage complex pharmacy-related data, including medication orders, prescriptions, and patient information
- Utilize exceptional data entry skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and insurance agencies, to resolve medication-related issues
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Perform multiple tasks in a high-volume environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, providing exceptional service and support to our members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and process enhancements
**Essential Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of GA
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- Strong data entry skills and experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Specialty pharmacy experience, with knowledge of complex medication management and therapy
- Experience with prescription settlement and communication with prescribers regarding case status and solution guarantee issues
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications
**Education**
- High school diploma or equivalent, GED, or higher education degree
