Platform Delivery Operations is the backbone of arenaflex's content distribution strategy. We create and maintain the systems, partnerships, and processes that deliver exceptional entertainment experiences to our fans, partners, and stakeholders. As part of the Platform Delivery team, you'll be instrumental in developing product strategies, executing complex projects, supporting monetization initiatives, managing content distribution performance, coordinating live events, and driving sales support for direct and digital products, SVOD/AVOD services, licensing deals, and transactional sales with both established and emerging global distribution partners.

About the Role

The Platform Distribution Operations Coordinator position is a critical role within our organization. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing business processes that ensure the successful management and operation of all media distribution—including theatrical releases, linear channels, SVOD/AVOD, FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television), ESPN Audio, transactional sales, airlines, news aggregators, licensing agreements, and direct-to-consumer products.

This role provides invaluable pre-deal and sales support, post-deal execution, and partner management. You'll support various teams within Platform Distribution Operations, including Technical Discussions, Data and Advertising, Network Management, and Business Development, addressing their daily business needs with professionalism and expertise.

What You'll Do

As a Platform Distribution Operations Coordinator at arenaflex, no two days will be the same. You'll collaborate with business partners and various technology and operations teams to manage multiple functional initiatives simultaneously. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Leadership: Create comprehensive project plans, communicate timelines, identify key milestones, prepare announcements, and maintain consistent information flow across all stakeholders
  • Partner Launch Support: Participate in the launch of new distribution partners and new content for existing partners to drive distribution and revenue growth
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to fulfill organizational commitments regarding technical aspects of distribution, data, measurement, and advertising with our distribution partners
  • Deal Support: Support the distribution sales teams in deal negotiations by providing subject matter expertise related to distribution, advertising, data, and/or measurement
  • Content Distribution Process Management: Support the process for content distribution of linear networks, FAST channels, audio, and VOD content across set-top-box, mobile, PC, and other digital platforms, including SVOD, AVOD, PVOD, electronic home video, and airline content
  • Rights Management: Support Rights Management-related tasks and initiatives, including confirming distribution and music rights for various first and third-party platforms
  • Revenue Optimization: Collaborate with teams including sales, finance, analytics, and others to support monetization efforts such as forecasting and revenue analysis, and inform technology roadmaps
  • Contract Renewal Coordination: Coordinate initial contract renewal review processes
  • Documentation & Analysis: Identify and review contractual language for key agreements; maintain and organize documentation including project trackers, reporting support, delivery specifications, data, manage standard agreements, and contractual language
  • Communication Support: Assist the team in developing presentations, training materials, and reports; summarize distribution sales meetings and provide key advertising/data references to the team
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with stakeholders across arenaflex—including sales, operations, production, digital media, legal, finance, and more—and externally with wholesalers, partners, vendors, and technology developers to support learning, enhance work capabilities, and advance Platform Delivery goals
  • Vendor Management: Support contract negotiations with vendors to secure services and monetization capabilities
  • Platform Administration: Curate business-specific information on B2B proprietary sites and perform system administrator duties as needed
  • Reporting & Analysis: Receive and review reporting from partner data feeds or internal measurement reports
  • System Maintenance: Perform system-level maintenance on wholesaler databases
