Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Quality Control Strategies and Guidelines Group, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights that inform business decisions. This is a remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere, while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements
  • Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders
  • Help investigate critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful reporting to enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities
  • Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding
  • Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the cadence, and validating the necessity of the data requirements
  • Identify irregularities in processes through audits/surveys and communicate findings to the team
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision
  • May perform other work duties as directed by the Team Leader

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively listen to, understand, and communicate ideas in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of data visualization tools and skills, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, being highly desirable
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework in a related field
  • Experience working in a related field, with a focus on data analysis and process improvement
  • Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
