Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to work remotely and support our quality assurance and control activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in QA/QC, testing, and product development, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. As a Quality Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for executing QA for designing exercises and QC for creation/producing support, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support designing/quality groups and plan and execute surveys of testing exercises for advancement and conformance
  • Develop detailed test plans for all periods of item testing and foster test methodology, experiments, and survey results
  • Participate in Bill of Plan evaluations, CTS, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, CTR, and other quality-related activities
  • Provide analysis from tests led and verifiable data, and create, maintain, and improve specialized documents and formats
  • Make test development schedules and test execution plans, and research test failures through data analysis and risk of failure in the field
  • Support warranty claims for internal data and identify and assess potential risks in design/producing that could influence customer quality
  • Collaborate with the engineering team, quality department, manufacturing, and production to ensure quality and reliability
  • Perform capability studies, gage R&R, and lead failure analysis procedures and design quality records
  • Provide QA during item improvement/Research and development and QC support during manufacturing and production
  • Have knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and other quality approval processes, and review and execution of customer requirements SOR or Technical specifications/requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in QA/QC, approval, testing, item advancement, and product development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, including PPAP, APQP, and ISO 9001

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Knowledge of data analysis and statistical process control tools and techniques
  • Experience with quality management software and systems, such as QMS or EQMS
  • Certification in quality management, such as CQE or CQA
