Job Overview

As a Division Support Team Member, you will be responsible for answering questions, providing resources and information, handling paperwork, and performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our division. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to division staff and families, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our services, including waiver services such as PCA, Respite, and Companion/Supervision
  • Utilize Person-Centered Thinking/Planning training to provide individualized support and resources to families
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve divisional goals and objectives, participating in meetings and contributing to the development of new initiatives
  • Travel to quarterly meetings in Virginia, as required, to stay informed and connected with the team
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google applications, utilizing technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Essential Qualifications

  • Documented combination of skills and relevant work experience in administration, customer service, or a related field
  • Person-Centered Thinking/Planning training, or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent interviewing techniques, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications, with the ability to learn new software and systems
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Dedicated home office with computer and stable internet connection, ensuring a productive and distraction-free work environment
  • Ability to submit to a criminal background check and provide two professional references
  • Availability to work normal business hours, 8 am-5 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Displays detailed knowledge of all waiver services, including PCA, Respite, and Companion/Supervision
  • Understands the roles and responsibilities of all entities involved in administering Virginia Medicaid Waivers
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and stay connected with colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Experience with database management, record-keeping, and data analysis, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
