**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced and flexible Remote Chat Moderator to join our team at arenaflex. As a part-time, remote position, you'll be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that our community guidelines are upheld, and providing excellent customer service to our users. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, including:
+ Deleting messages that violate our community guidelines
+ Banning users with multiple and repeat violations of our rules
+ Muting users who have violated our guidelines
+ Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations
* Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies
* Providing excellent customer service to our users, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Staying up-to-date with our community guidelines and policies, and ensuring that they are consistently enforced
* Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about our community and best practices
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork
* Familiarity with Discord and online community management platforms
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on customer service and support
* Familiarity with community guidelines and policies, and experience enforcing them in a previous role
* Experience working with diverse communities and populations, with a strong understanding of the importance of inclusivity and respect
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
