The Opportunity: Remote Customer Service Representative
In this permanent work-at-home role, you'll leverage your exceptional customer service skills, patience, and compassion to answer inbound phone calls for our clients' members or customers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries, resolving issues via one-call resolution guidelines, and consistently meeting or exceeding performance metrics. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls professionally, ensuring prompt and courteous service to our clients' customers
- Gather customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers on products and services thoroughly and efficiently
- Utilize and navigate multiple systems simultaneously, demonstrating strong technical skills and adaptability
- Meet all attendance requirements, demonstrating dependability and a strong work ethic
- Resolve customer issues via one-call resolution guidelines and/or escalated process, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Meet or exceed company and client performance metrics, consistently striving for excellence in customer service
- Maintain a balance between company policy and client benefit in decision-making, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact our client and its customers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- Take responsibility for call disposition or compile and document customer information as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

Essential Qualifications:
- 6 months of experience in customer service, ideally in the healthcare industry, or a degree/appropriate education that can be substituted for experience
- Stable work history, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic
- Strong detail orientation and excellent communication/listening skills, ensuring effective customer interactions
- Ability to pass all skill assessments, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft applications
- Demonstrated passion for excellence in treating and caring for customers, particularly senior citizens
- Strong decision-making and analytical abilities, enabling effective problem-solving and issue resolution
- Ability to identify customer needs and clearly articulate products and services, ensuring timely and effective solutions
- Schedule flexibility, including weekends, evenings, possible holidays, and occasional overtime, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to customer service
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, upholding the highest standards of excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a remote or work-from-home environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in multiple software applications and systems
