About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding their order status, product information requests, and resolve customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Process customer returns according to established department policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Medical Billing department to resolve disputed billing charges and ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Partner with Sales Representatives to meet or exceed customer service expectations and drive business growth.
- Provide timely feedback to Customer Service Management regarding service failures or customer concerns to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions, orders, and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies to provide informed support to customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- At least 1 year of experience in the medical industry or call center/customer service environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and training tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deal with a variety of variables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical technology or healthcare-related industry.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and/or medical devices.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
