**Responsibilities**

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk / Typing Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

* Transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using your keyboard and computer skills
* Typing in data provided directly from customers with accuracy and attention to detail
* Filling in spreadsheets with potentially large numbers of figures without mistakes
* Verifying data by comparing it to source documents to ensure accuracy
* Updating existing data in a timely and efficient manner
* Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by clients
* Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
* Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data confidentiality principles at all times

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Proven experience as a data entry clerk (although not required, it is preferred)
* Fast typing skills with the ability to maintain accuracy and speed
* A level of comfort with word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
