We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Boston, USA. Key Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the analysis of business, application, and technical system requirements
- Supports the design, build, development, and integration of infrastructure required to support the business portfolio or platform, focusing on stability, scalability, availability, and efficiency
- Supports initiatives that deliver functional end-to-end infrastructure solutions that adhere to Innovation standards
- Plans, assigns, and manages the effective use of Functional Support resources throughout the development life cycle, across multiple development groups
- Manages break/fix, incident, and issue activities across the team
- Manages Architects and/or Implementation Experts in the local market group
- Monitors, controls, and reports Functional Support usage throughout the development life cycle
- Serves as the primary point of contact for business/development groups or vendors needing assistance in resolving issues
- Coordinates Operations resources in the goal/avoidance of issues where necessary
- Supports production verification practices
- Works with the utilization of technical subject matter expertise to optimize the design of technical solutions/enhancements
- Aids in quality assessments by supporting quality rating estimates on key changes
- Contributes to the development of policies and procedures for the production and management support capability
- Delivers ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) compliance process conformance for incident, issue, and change management
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years of engineering experience in a mainframe environment
- Experience with the design and implementation of mainframe and distributed applications
- 2+ years of experience with mainframe infrastructure, hardware, and operating systems
- 2+ years of experience monitoring issues, change and incident lines, enforcing compliance with capability, root cause analysis, and change quality targets
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in a operations or support role
