**Job Summary:**

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Associate to join our team in New York. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for delivering a positive customer experience, providing expert advice on print, signs & graphics, and shipping products, and operating a wide range of equipment to meet customer needs. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Deliver exceptional customer service by using consultative skills to understand each customer's individualized needs, providing expert advice on print, signs & graphics, and shipping products, and finding solutions to meet customer needs.
* Provide accurate pricing information, take complex customer orders, and assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping.
* Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and other related equipment, to meet customer needs.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment, ensuring confidentiality of customer data and careful handling of documents, media, and packages.
* Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change.
* Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability.
* Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage.
* Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste, and complete required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting.
* Follow FedEx Office standard operating procedures, as well as adhering to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures.

**Essential Qualifications and Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent education
* 6 months of specialized experience in retail customer service or a related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
* Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
* Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
* Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
* Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience working in a retail environment with a strong focus on customer service
* Knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping products and services
* Ability to operate a wide range of equipment, including printing, binding, and other related equipment
* Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and financial transactions
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
