**Key Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Retail Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Engaging customers and resolving issues through greeting, product assistance, and proactive service
* Registering sales on assigned cash registers, collecting cash, and distributing change as needed
* Recommending products to customers and promoting trade-up and/or companion products
* Maintaining counters and shelves in a smooth and well-merchandised state, taking inventory, and completing tasks as directed by the shift leader or store manager
* Implementing agency asset protection strategies to prevent and reduce earnings loss
* Ensuring compliance with local and national laws concerning regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
* Constructing and maintaining displays, promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise, and completing resets and revisions as directed
* Assisting with the separation of food products (e.g., raw ingredients from pre-cooked) and product placement using policies and approaches (e.g., raw and frozen meats on back cabinets)
* Providing customer support in the photo location, including virtual passport image services, poster print, and innovative machine services, and suggestive selling of promotional photo merchandise
* Assisting with outdoor and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store environment
* Complying with all agency policies and approaches, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers, and completing unique assignments and other responsibilities as assigned

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, communications)
* Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Six months of experience in a retail environment
* Prior experience with arenaflex (previously known as Walgreens)
* Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

**Skills and Competencies**

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
* Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
