**Key Responsibilities:**

* Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, determining their needs and exceeding their expectations through exceptional customer service
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences through customer engagement and quality product delivery
* Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and properly promote them to customers
* Identify customer needs and offer additional services that could benefit them
* Receive, sort, and place mail in mailboxes accurately
* Record all sales transactions completely and accurately in our Point of Sale system
* Pack contents for shipping using established procedures and products
* Receive and prepare documents for printing
* Operate all software packages, including shipment manifesting software and label generation
* Process and document damaged shipments, late, and lost package claims
* Assist in merchandising the store, including stocking shelves with product, ensuring a clean and orderly appearance of product, and informing appropriate personnel of inventory levels for re-ordering supplies
* Perform end-of-day duties, including reconciliation of cash, checks, money orders, credit cards, and all other transactions accurately and in accordance with company policy and procedure
* Operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, and all other office machines in a safe, efficient, and productive manner, helping customers operate office machines located in the retail area
* Perform general housekeeping duties

**Essential Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
* Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and other financial responsibilities
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field
* Familiarity with Point of Sale systems and other software packages
* Knowledge of shipping and handling procedures, including package preparation and manifesting
* Experience with office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, and binding equipment
* Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and operate new software packages
