Job Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for data/text mining, analysis, and business intelligence. Your primary objective will be to enable informed business decisions by applying statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Under moderate supervision, design and develop solutions from initial concept to production, utilizing current and emerging technologies to assess trends and foster significant insights and recommendations to management.
• Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources, gaining insights into key business issues and expectations.
• Communicate results to a broad range of audiences, utilizing excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Utilize data, statistical, and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive navigation, and guide less senior staff in cross-functional projects and tasks.
• Present findings and recommendations to management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance.
• At least 3 years of work experience in estimation and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis.
• Proficiency in analysis software and applications, with excellent relational skills and strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences are considered an asset:

• Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies, such as SAFE Scrum.
• Experience with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; numerical analysis; discrete data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and basic accounting information.
