Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Virtual Customer Care Chat Professional to join our team. As a chat professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through virtual channels. You will be the face of our brand, providing personalized support and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Execute development for a range of multiple parallel project engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Write high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and Javascript, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Produce, maintain, and modify digital experiences and user interfaces, ensuring seamless customer experiences across all channels.
- Partner with the UX/UI, copy, and design teams to develop the overall look and design of digital experiences, providing input and expertise to ensure best practices are followed.
- Ensure that best practices regarding accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease of use are included early on in project ideation, and provide guidance and oversight to other developers to ensure consistency.
- Develop an overall development approach and guide other developers through execution to delivery, providing proactive coaching, feedback, and oversight to ensure high-quality results.
- Partner with the QA team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, identify patterns, and use learnings to optimize overall development processes, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence.
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a virtual or chat-based environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing deadlines.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, with experience in digital platform development and user interface design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in digital development, including accessibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong understanding of customer experience principles and practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
