About the Role
CrowdStrike is seeking a Federal DOW Sales Engineer to become a teammate on a high-performing team of Sales Engineers supporting our U.S. Federal Civilian business. This is a senior SE role responsible for guiding technical pre-sales efforts, supporting large customers, and driving solution alignment across a wide portfolio of federal customers. This Sales Engineer  will work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Product Management, Sales Engineering Leadership, Alliances, and Horizon SE teams to ensure our platform aligns with federal mission requirements, acquisition strategies, and compliance frameworks.

Success in this role requires a strong mix of technical depth and federal DOW business sector experience. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the federal DOW market, a proven track record of successful Federal DOW technical technical sales, and the ability to influence both internal and external technical stakeholders.

What You'll Do:
Experienced in endpoint or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.

Extensive Proof of Value experience with a deep understanding of how technology wins drive deal close

Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems

Can easily articulate complex security problems to a wide set of audiences

Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently

Can work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the SE should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers for any escalations/feedback

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives

Extensive contacts in the information security field and strong references

What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

Prior experience as a Federal Civilian Sales Engineer 

CJIS clearance

Secret Clearance or ability to obtain

Strong technical aptitude and curiosity

Sales engineering background or relevant work experience

Ability to travel as required

Bonus Points:
Experience with security products

Experience with SaaS-based security offerings

Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis

Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash

Experience with virtualization technologies

Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc

Understanding of FedRAMP IL-5 frameworks

Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS

Top Secret / SCI Clearance

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $135,000 - $205,000 per year, with eligibility for commissions, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
