Full-time

At Recor Medical, we are pioneering Ultrasound Renal Denervation (uRDN) therapy to treat hypertension, the leading cardiovascular risk factor in the world. With our Paradise™ uRDN System, we’re on a mission to provide the millions of people who suffer from hypertension with a non-drug and minimally invasive option to lower their blood pressure. Join us on our journey and make a meaningful impact on the lives of people around the globe.

Position Summary

The Field Clinical Engineer supports Recor's clinical trial operations with responsibilities weighted approximately 80% toward clinical pipeline development and patient recruitment, and provide 20% time toward technical case support in the cath lab upon proficiency. Candidates seeking primarily case support or traditional clinical field engineering roles should note this unique balance.

The majority of this role involves building sustainable patient pipelines for Recor-sponsored clinical studies through strategic site consultation. Internally, the CFE partners with Therapy Development to align recruitment strategies with program objectives. At clinical sites, the CFE works with site research teams, data teams, and commercial stakeholders to leverage claims data for building provider referral networks and utilize EMR systems to identify eligible patients within those networks.

The CFE guides sites in designing and implementing EMR flagging criteria and recruitment workflows, builds relationships with site coordinators and referring physicians, and develops targeted outreach programs. Success requires influencing site teams without direct authority and tracking recruitment metrics across multiple sites using CTMS and Salesforce.

The technical component includes providing in-room cath lab support during Paradise™ uRDN procedures, proctoring cases, certifying physicians on device use, and delivering hands-on training on device setup and operation. This work requires coordination with Sales Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists to ensure seamless case coverage and site support.

As Recor's commercial presence expands over the next 18-24 months, this role will evolve to become increasingly technical with greater emphasis on procedure support and device troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings clinical research expertise, strong consultative and relationship-building skills, understanding of healthcare data analytics and EMR systems, and technical aptitude for interventional cardiology procedures. This position reports to Clinical Operations and requires comfort working independently across multiple sites while collaborating with both clinical and commercial teams.
