Financial Analyst

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Analyst to support a UK-based employer in delivering financial insights and strategic reporting. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
Handle data gathering, cleansing, and analysis across multiple financial systems
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, models, and reporting outputs
Use relevant tools such as Excel, financial modelling software, and ERP systems
Support the wider team with month-end close activities, variance analysis, and presentations
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reduce reporting inefficiencies
Qualifications and Experience
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling, and accounting tools
Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment
Salary: R35,000/month | 100% Remote
