Role Summary
We are looking for an FP&A consultant to support the 2027 budgeting process with a strong focus on NetSuite data, input consolidation, and template management.
This role will partner closely with the Director of FP&A to ensure clean, consistent data across locations and departments, manage budget input workflows, and support the overall budgeting process. This is a hands-on role focused more on data, systems, and execution than building complex financial models.
Some day-to-day responsibilities include:
NetSuite Data & Architecture
Extract, validate, and reconcile historical financial data from NetSuite
Ensure consistency between NetSuite reporting structure and budget framework
Identify and resolve inconsistencies across locations or account usage
Data Consolidation & Cleanup
Standardize financial data across departments and locations
Clean and structure datasets for use in budgeting and reporting
Reconcile all consolidated data back to NetSuite architecture
Maintain a clean, auditable dataset throughout the budgeting process
Template Design & Input Management
Build and manage budget input templates for department leaders
Pre-populate templates with historical data and relevant context
Ensure templates are simple, consistent, and easy to use for non-finance stakeholders
Consolidate submitted inputs into a standardized format for use in the core model
Budget Process Support
Track and manage input submissions across departments
Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely and complete inputs
Support iteration cycles by updating and consolidating revised inputs
Help maintain organization and version control across multiple workstreams
Education and Skills
4–8+ years of FP&A, accounting, or finance operations experience
Strong NetSuite experience required (data extraction, reporting structure, account mapping)
Experience working with multi-entity or multi-location financial data
Strong Excel skills
Experience supporting bottoms-up budgeting processes
Employment Type
This is a full-time, non-exempt, temporary remote position with an anticipated duration of four months. The schedule is 40 hours per week, typically 8 hours per day.
Compensation
The hourly salary range for this role is $50-70/hr. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
