Fractional CFO / Accountant — BluebonnetGoods.com

Bluebonnetgoods.com is a growing luxury leather goods brand, born in a small Austin garage and now selling primarily DTC. We’re a small team, scaling quickly, with strong momentum across e-commerce and retail partnerships.

We’re looking for a fractional CFO / accountant to help bring structure to our financial operations and guide us as we grow.

What you’ll own:

-Manage and oversee bookkeeping (currently using Finaloop — needs ongoing review, cleanup, and optimization)

-Inventory accounting across Shopify, including accurate and updated COGS

-Accounting operations: PO invoices, reconciliations, monthly close

-Sales tax compliance (currently automated through Numeral)

-Ensure overall tax compliance and clean financial reporting

CFO / strategic layer:

-Build financial models and forecasts

-Help us understand unit economics and margin by product/channel

-Guide cash flow, inventory planning, and pricing decisions

-Bring a clear POV on how to scale profitably

Who you are:

-Experience with DTC / e-commerce brands (inventory-heavy preferred)

-Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment

-Strong grasp of tools like Shopify and modern accounting stacks

-Able to go from hands-on execution → high-level strategy

This is a fractional role (hours flexible), but we’re looking for someone who can act as a true partner as we scale.
