Fractional CFO for D2C MRR Supplement Brand
We are looking for an experienced Fractional CFO to help us get full financial clarity across our D2C supplement MRR brand.
We need someone who can help us understand our real numbers, build accurate forecasting, and create one central spreadsheet or dashboard that becomes our single source of truth.
This role is not for a basic bookkeeper. We need someone who understands paid acquisition, subscriptions, retention, margins, and cash flow.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Build one clear spreadsheet or dashboard that tracks all important numbers
Calculate blended ROAS, blended CPA, and platform-level ROAS/CPA
Analyze churn, retention, cohorts, MRR growth, and payback period
Calculate our true net CAC with all costs included
Include COGS, shipping, payment fees, refunds, chargebacks, ad spend, overhead, and OPEX
Build forecasting models for scaling, cash flow, revenue, profit, and MRR
Help us understand which channels, cohorts, and acquisition levels are actually profitable
Proactively identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in the numbers
What We’re Looking For
You should have experience with:
D2C or eCommerce brands
MRR, subscription, or repeat-purchase businesses
Cohort analysis and retention modeling
CAC, ROAS, LTV, contribution margin, churn, and payback period
Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
Financial dashboards, spreadsheets, and forecasting models
Experience with supplement, health, or wellness brands is a strong plus.
Important Qualities
We need someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable digging deep into messy data.
You should not wait for us to tell you every detail. We want someone who asks the right questions, challenges assumptions, and helps us get a clear financial picture of the business.
Goal
The goal is simple:
We want to know exactly how profitable our MRR model is, how much we can spend to acquire customers, how retention impacts long-term profitability, and how fast we can safely scale.
